We have already arrived at the second month of 2018.
Our own words and our decisions, for the most part, have caused us to arrive at this place. If we decide to reach forward we can continue to see the plan of God for our lives unfold. If we make no decisions then our lives unfolds based on natural events. The scriptures help us in this regard.
Philippians 3:13 - “Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things, which are behind, and reaching forward to those things which are ahead,(NKJ)
Remember that the Apostle Paul had much to forget. He had persecuted the church of Jesus Christ and even consented to the stoning (ancient form of execution by rock throwing) of Stephen.
Paul had to learn to put such negative memories behind him, literally forget them and get on with his life. Paul did not allow the past to become an unbearable burden to him in his decision-making.
We need to ask ourselves, are we allowing our past to stop the move of God in our lives? If so, refresh your thinking about God's plan for your life. If you need to, write it out and rehearse it daily.
God has clear thoughts about you. Notice Jeremiah 29:11 - “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.” (NKJ)
God wants to give you hope and a future. Blessings are in store for you in this year of 2018. Receive it, believe it and say it not only to yourself but to others as well who have your best interest at heart.
This year is a time when we can do the things that God directs us to do through His Word and then Rest in knowing that He has done them and will continue to do His part in your life. Your success is guaranteed.
The same plans of great care that God Almighty has for you, He has for all others. So go ahead and tell them about it.
As always say the following out aloud with conviction: “I’m believing to be at the Right Place, at the Right Time saying the Right Thing and the Right Thing to say is the Gospel of Jesus Christ.”
