Last month we found out that words are very powerful. Your words can form your future. Words that you speak in line with God’s word will release power in your life.
Those words spoken become a tree of life. Proverbs 15:4 says that a wholesome tongue is a tree of life, but perverseness in it breaks the spirit.
God’s words are wholesome. That is the reason you can rely on the Word of God as outlined in the Bible. Those words are united and give one message and that is the reason we say the word of god. These words have power stored in them.
Although the Bible has much historical and factual information in it, there is also great assurance in it for us. It is these very promises that we are to receive by faith that help us in time of need. The instructions of God are received by us saying and affirming His words. Initially we begin saying these truths to ourselves. This process allows God’s promises to take root in our lives and to grow to a bountiful harvest.
Your words can become a well or fountain of life not only to you but towards others. The book of Proverbs tells you that your words can be life-giving words, that can be as sweet as syrup or honey and as healing to your body.
Pro 10:11 - The mouth of the righteous is a well of life, but violence covers the mouth of the wicked.
Pro 16:24 - Pleasant words are like a honeycomb, sweetness to the soul and health to the bones.
Your words can bring health to your body by simply quoting and believing God’s word on the matter. You can produce a pleasant atmosphere around you and in your home by speaking pleasant words.
You can make your words pleasant by filling them with God’s love and faith. It becomes very important to read and study God’s word on a daily basis. In so doing, you are allowing the Word of God to comfort, enlighten, heal and mature you. As you become strong in God’s word you can begin to help others.
You are called to help hurting humanity with the love and knowledge of God. Help can come in many forms. But you can rest assured that it began with your own words. Through your words you can determine to be an asset to
society rather than a liability.
The bible says that you can be snared and caught by the words of your mouth.
Pro 6:2 - You are snared by the words of your mouth; You are taken by the words of your mouth.
If you can be snared then you can also be set free and help to set others free. So why should you be snared when you can be delivered, especially if you know that the answer is so close to home. It begins about two inches below your nose.
Having knowledge and confessing the Word of God causes you to complete God’s work on the earth. It keeps you from losing sight of the great commission.
Remember to say the following out loud with conviction, “I’m believing to be at the Right Place, at the Right Time saying the Right Thing and the Right Thing to say is the Gospel of Jesus Christ”.
